ESTABLISHED 1974

In 1974, WODU Radio was played throughout academic buildings of the campus upon launching. The station was broadcasted for twenty eight years on 1650 AM in the Hampton Roads Metropolitan Area. Being a company, that evolves and thrives off of the growth in transition of media, the company felt the need to meet the community at its desired needs.



From 2002 to present day, WODU Studios has been broadcasting on the campus's internal cable television system - "MonarchVision.” More recently, WODU Studios decided to shift its focus to Online Radio programming, which has been proven to be the leading means of communication in the 21st century.
