Thank you for your interest in supporting programming on WODU, the non-commercial radio station at Old Dominion University. As a non-commercial, non-profit college station, WODU is solely funded by the university. In recent years, operational expenses have risen, while funding has remained stable.

 

You can help support WODU with an underwriting pledge of money. As a thank you, we make on-air announcements about your company and its generous donation. As with all other forms of donation to WODU, your underwriting pledge is tax-deductable.

What You Are Supporting?

 

WODU Radio, Old Dominion University’s non-commercial, non-profit station broadcasts content that informs and entertains the interests of the Old Dominion University and surrounding Hampton Roads communities. WODU Radio broadcasts music programming (across genres from hip-hop to gospel to pop), informative news programs, talk shows, Old Dominion Athletics.

 

In addition to our online streaming radio, we have an upcoming television station - ODU TV. 

 

How It Works?

 

Typically, businesses will either underwrite a specific show on WODU Radio or provide general underwriting support for the station. The costs to underwrite specific news, sports, public affairs, and music programs may vary. For current underwriting rates, email wodupromo@gmail.com.

 

Typically, underwriting contracts are re-evaluated on a quarterly basis: the beginning of September, and January (consistent with the ODU class schedule). Shorter and longer-term contracts are also available.

Borjo Coffeehouse is an independently owned coffee shop serving fresh locally roasted fair-trade & organic coffees, espresso drinks, milkshakes, frappes, juices, smoothies, muffins, breakfast, lunch, beer, wine & mixed drinks.
